Responsibilities

  • Monitoring premises through CCTV systems and regular patrols to ensure safety.
  • Controlling access to buildings by checking IDs, permits, or visitor logs.
  • Quickly responding to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical situations, or security breaches.
  • Reporting incidents timely and maintaining daily activity logs for management and law enforcement.
  • Strictly following rules and regulations to maintain order.
  • Checking and securing entrances and exits to prevent illegal access and theft.
  • Politely guiding visitors with directions and safety-related information.
  • Staying attentive to detect any suspicious behavior in the surroundings.

Requirements

  • Valid SIRA License (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) is necessary for most positions.
  • Usually high school diploma or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
  • Physical fitness and sound health to stand for long hours and respond quickly.
  • Basic communication skills in English, like speaking, reading, and writing (Arabic is a plus).
  • Prior experience in security or a related field is often required.
  • Ability to deal politely and effectively with the public.
  • Age requirement is between 21 to 45 years old.
  • Willingness to work for extra shifts like including nights, weekends, and holidays.
